Sinopsis :

The ICPSH offers a unique opportunity to bring together a global community of scholars, policymakers, and practitioners to engage in critical discourse on collaborative governance. This conference will focus on leveraging insights from Indonesia—a nation at the crossroads of development and diversity—alongside global case studies, to forge innovative pathways for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In the 21st century, the global community faces complex and interrelated challenges, such as climate change, social inequality, and economic instability. The SDGs provide a comprehensive framework to address these challenges, and central to their achievement is the concept of collaborative governance. This governance model emphasizes inclusive and participatory approaches, integrating efforts across governments, the private sector, civil society, and international organizations.
Indonesia, as one of the world’s largest and most diverse democracies, offers critical insights into both the opportunities and challenges of collaborative governance. From disaster management to environmental conservation and social inclusion, Indonesia's experiences provide valuable lessons that resonate on a global scale. However, the implementation of collaborative governance, both in Indonesia and other regions, faces significant challenges, including coordination difficulties, power imbalances, limited resources, and varying levels of stakeholder commitment and capacity.
This conference aims to explore these multifaceted dimensions by bringing together case studies from Indonesia and other regions. The goal is to foster a rich dialogue that draws from both local knowledge and global perspectives, contributing to a deeper understanding of how collaborative governance can be leveraged to address the pressing challenges of our time.
